The Aussie equivalent of the dysfunctional "Griswalds" (European Vacation) take to the sky in late March for a once in a lifetime (well at least until the credit card bill is paid off!) family journey experiencing many of the splendours of the UK & Europe !
Visiting Paris, Venice, Prague, Amsterdam, London, the Mediterannean as well as Honiton's local fish & chip shop the Girls +1 plan on spending quality time taking in the history, scenery and ambience of some of the most lovely places in the Nthn Hemisphere.
Not having jointly travelled since 2002, when I seem to remember saying "never again" (the teenage years !), we take in our UK roots imposing upon Monika's Honition family, before taking what should be a magnificent cruise through the Med to Istanbul from Venice
My standing as head of the family and the only male (other than two at home dogs), is as a figurehead only ! I exepect to be regularly ignored when shopping is on offer (other than when the credit card is required) and regularly complained to when sight seeing involves any form of physical activity ! Redgardless it should be a memorabale trip !
