Breakfast was like the word had got out that the world was about to end and that this would be everyone's last meal ever - trying to find a seat, trying to find your county's culinary type and trying very hard not to punch the next person that blocks your way was pretty much a good summary of proceedings.
Never the less the buffett meals are varied and filling leaving you pretty satisfied more than I can say for the wait staff who look like they are doing forced time !
Kylee and Tegan had thankfully emerged in one piece after having to erect a Berlin style pillow wall to separate themselves in their jointly shared double bed
We got off having docked at Bari to take a 10 Euro local tour which at least gave a good overview of its interesting local history - in short someone battled with someone else who in turn got beaten by someone which was then followed by a local revolt .... You get the story !
Heading back to the ship the winds had picked up considerably and at 70 knots was enough to keep our cruise ship stationary in Bari port for 8 hours meaning that we would unfortunately miss going to Olympia in Greece and instead head direct to Izmir and Ephesus in Turkey
The night was spent with the girls trying out various smoothies and cocktails while i settled for another bottle of wine forced upon me by our head Balinese waiter very efficient, very friendly and very effeminate !
Meanwhile Kylee and Tegan feeling the effects of age lasted only until 9.30 and headed off to bed before the oldies and without dinner !
