Re: London Day 10 - On the road again ! Said goodbye to Honiton and our UK family before journeying 150 + miles back up to London and our Premiere Inn accommodation at Gatwick Airport We didn't get off to a great start coming across a 10km tailback caused by a traffic accident that blocked the main Honiton - London road in both directions. A few frantic phone calls to the family enabled us to head off cross country to get around the impasse going through Chard and Crewkerne before rejoining the A 303. Kylee and Tegan provided some enjoyable en route entertainment by bouncing off each other attempting to cross a busy road in Chard in search of a morning Pasty ! The road delay saw us entering peak hour traffic on the dreaded M25 orbital that circles London. Thankfully we were going in the right direction passing miles of crawling cars and trucks going the other way. We finally found our way into Gatwick and most importantly to our car rental return through a labrynith of roundabouts and traffic lanes and were delighted to see our hotel only 200 metres away Tegan later reported one of the major highlights of her trip so far by being able to take a shower with enough water pressure to actually achieve a lather on the soap - so delighted she expects to soon post a picture but in the interim decided the one of her sister Kylee was funnier !
